Job summary

ENG TEKNOLOGI SDN. BHD. is seeking a skilled technician to perform basic troubleshooting, record test data, and monitor CNC machines in a Penang-based facility.

The role emphasizes productivity, quality, and safety in line with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards. Applicants should have a Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or a related field, plus 2–3 years in CNC machining, with proficiency in Lathe and Milling operations and basic CNC programming.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Certificate in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 2–3 years of working experience in CNC machining environment (automotive industry is an advantage).
• Good understanding of CNC machine operation and setup (Lathe and Milling).
• Ability to perform basic CNC program editing and offset adjustments.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of process control to ensure productivity and product quality.
• Experience in performing preventive maintenance and daily machine care activities.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic troubleshooting and corrective actions within assigned scope.
• Record work activities, inspection results, and test data as required.
• Monitor machine performance during testing and identify abnormalities or malfunctions.
• Support continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
• Report any machine breakdowns, test failures, or safety issues to the Production Leader/Supervisor.
• Carry out assigned tasks from superior following the Manufacturing Process Instruction and ISO standards.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the superior from time to time.
