Job summary

Malaysian Die-Casting Industries in Shah Alam seeks a maintenance technician to perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on machining production equipment. The role requires basic CNC knowledge and programming on milling and lathe machines, with a diploma or technical certificate as qualification.

The successful candidate will maintain records, support improvements to the maintenance system, and assist with initial run setups, test cuts, and tool/fix ture readiness.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in repairing electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic plus CNC Maintenance (repair & preventive maintenance).
• Possess basic knowledge of CNC machine.
• Basic programming on both CNC Milling & Lathe.

Responsibilities

• To conduct preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance for all machining production machineries.
• To support machining maintenance in monitoring and continually improves the maintenance system.
• Keep and maintain proper records for all maintenance issues.
• Continuously monitor the quality and yield of the operations and take corrective and preventive actions to ensure conformance.
• To ensure that all necessary fixtures, tools and related items for initial run are correctly set-up, using the given tool list.
• Support test cuts on new project (FA) and initial run parts. Ensure the correct NC program, Jigs fixture, Tools list and tool table are properly loaded at the appropriate machine to produce the correct part before the start production.
• To ensure machine Cycle Time, Tool life record and all engineering document are properly record and maintain according to plan.
• Support in any additional task as assigned by immediate superior.
