Job summary

Jora Malaysia is offering a 6-month hands-on Production Intern program focused on CNC Milling and Precision Machining. Based in Shah Alam, it provides practical exposure to machining operations with structured on-the-job training.

The internship aims to develop core skills in reading technical drawings, operating milling machines, and maintaining precision. Candidates should have a Diploma in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics or equivalent and be willing to learn and communicate in Bahasa

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent.
• Basic ability to understand technical drawings and machining processes, including milling and turning.
• Good attention to detail with a focus on precision and accuracy.
• Willing to learn, accept feedback and learn from mistakes.
• Good attitude, discipline, commitment and willingness to develop technical skills.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Must be willing to work on a rotating shift.
• Physically fit and able to handle machining parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate conventional milling machines and other machining equipment under guidance to gain practical machining experience.
• Gain hands-on experience in CNC machine loading, unloading and basic machining processes.
• Learn to read and understand technical drawings and machining requirements.
• Develop good machining practices, including accuracy, attention to detail, measurement and quality awareness.
• Gain practical exposure to the daily responsibilities and work processes of a CNC Machinist.
