Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Precision Procurement Executive to manage the machining supply chain in Shah Alam. You will read mechanical drawings, oversee RFQ cycles, and onboard CNC vendors to ensure a lean, high-impact operation within a growing manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate may be a fresh graduate or have up to 3 years of experience, with Mandarin as an advantage. Proficiency in English and strong negotiation skills are valued; role includes standard daytime hours in Shah Alam.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings/blueprints.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Experience with supplier management and RFQ processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Development: identify, source, and onboard qualified machining suppliers.
• Resource Management: manage supplier resources, capacity planning, and relationships.
• Performance Monitoring: monitor quality, delivery timelines, and service levels.
• Cost Optimization: lead RFQ process, analyze costs, and negotiate prices.
• Risk Mitigation: assess procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Strategic Support: support Procurement Manager and broader departmental goals.
