Job summary

Mokko Sdn Bhd is seeking a CNC Operator to handle cutting and processing of furniture and carpentry components. You will set up machines based on production drawings and job requirements, load programs, ensure correct materials and tools are used, and monitor operations for quality and efficiency.

You will also inspect finished parts for accuracy, perform basic troubleshooting, report issues, minimize waste, and maintain a safe, clean workspace in compliance with all safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines in furniture or carpentry manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret production drawings and cutting lists.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines for cutting and processing furniture and carpentry components.
• Set up machines according to production drawings, cutting lists and job requirements.
• Load machine programs and ensure correct materials, tools and settings are used.
• Read and understand technical drawings, dimensions and production specifications.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy, quality and smooth production.
• Check finished components for correct measurements, cutting quality and defects.
• Carry out basic machine troubleshooting, tool changes and routine maintenance.
• Report machine faults, material defects and production issues to the supervisor.
• Minimise material wastage and ensure production targets are achieved.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area.
• Follow all factory safety procedures and machine operating guidelines.
• Coordinate with designers, production supervisors and assembly teams when necessary.
