Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for the Johor region, working with CNC milling/turning and grinding operations. You will read blueprints, set up and operate CNC and conventional machines, inspect parts, and maintain records.

A diploma in mechanical/precision engineering is required, with training provided. The role involves routine troubleshooting, quality checks, and tool/machine maintenance, with a fixed two-year term and benefits including leaves and insurance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical/Precision Engineering or equivalent.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Setup, operate and maintain CNC or conventional machines (Milling, Lathe, Surface Grinding, Shaping, etc.).
• Maintain measuring equipment and make accurate inspections.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain CNC or conventional machines in the cell.
• Operate measuring tools and fixtures to verify dimensions.
• Read blueprints and follow technical drawings for part manufacture.
• Record shop data and ensure tidy work areas after use.
• Notify supervisor promptly of machine or tooling issues affecting quality or safety.
