Job summary

The role involves developing, modifying, and executing CMM programs, plus reporting results with traceability. Qualifications include a Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Metrology and 2-5 years of CMM/metrology experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Metrology, or Quality.
• 2-5 years of relevant CMM operation and dimensional inspection experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Operate CMM and related metrology equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform dimensional inspection per drawings, specs, and control plans.
• Develop, modify, and execute CMM measurement programs.
• Conduct first article, in-process, final, and investigation measurements.
• Measure critical dimensions and GD&T characteristics.
• Prepare accurate CMM inspection reports and data.
• Carry out daily/periodic CMM equipment checks.
• Read and interpret drawings, specs, GD&T, and customer requirements.
• Support investigations of dimensional variations and defects.
• Maintain CMM programs and associated documentation.
