Job summary

AIA Digital+ in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a results-driven Business Analyst to join its technology, digital and analytics hub. You will translate business needs into clear requirements and work with stakeholders across projects to deliver practical solutions.

The role requires a Bachelor's in IT, at least 6 years IT experience and 4 years as a BA, with strong analytical, communication and change-management skills. Insurance industry experience and Java/DB familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above in IT-related disciplines.
• Minimum 6 years in progressive IT sector.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a business analyst.
• Ability to analyze, interpret and communicate business information to stakeholders.
• Familiar with requirements development & change management.
• Nice to have Agile or other software development process experience.
• Experience with insurance institutions is a plus.
• DB and Java developer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Capture and document use cases.
• Analyze and develop functional specification documents.
• Identify business goals and provide solutions to clients.
• Identify assumptions, constraints, issues and risks.
• Translate between users and developers.
• Perform system testing and support UAT.
• Provide system training to users.
• Support system implementation.
• Familiar with insurance business.
