Job summary

PLUS Malaysia Berhad is seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our tech team. You will expand user stories into actionable tasks and work with Product Owner to design robust solutions on Azure or AWS.

As part of the development team, you will build new features, develop on cloud platforms, and ensure code quality through testing and proper version control. Join a large, nation-building company with a strong engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science with emphasis on software engineering / development and system analysis and design.
• Minimum 4 years experience in VB.NET, MVC, C/C++/C#, JAVA, SQL Server and cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / Ali Cloud).
• System Analysis & Design
• Experience with Microsoft development tools and frameworks
• Able to model requirements into diagrams / pseudocodes
• Software development and implementation on cloud platform

Responsibilities

• Expand user stories into a list of tasks for the development team within the sprint.
• Analyze, define, document system requirements including data, workflow, interfaces, checks and controls.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to gather requirements and design solutions.
• Develop proofs of concept and drive implementation, document results.
• Estimate feasibility, cost, timeline, compatibility and capabilities for operations.
• Create databases/tables and develop code to deliver new functions.
• Perform unit testing and coordinate with testers for module testing.
• Review backlog stories and propose new ones for next sprint.
• Clarify requirements with Product Owner and end-users; advise on scope and duration.
• Ensure bugs are identified and software quality is maintained.
• Develop reusable code, enforce version control, and store updates properly.
• Provide feedback to improve existing systems and features.
