Job summary

AIA Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, high availability and cost control across the enterprise.

You will work with cloud platforms, migrate on-prem workloads to cloud, and collaborate with IT teams to integrate existing systems into cloud-based solutions, following best practices and ITIL guidelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer engineering or IT related field (minimum).
• Extensive cloud environment experience (minimum 7 years).
• Strong OS administration knowledge (Windows & Linux).
• Experience with cloud tooling and automation platforms (ServiceNow, Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiarity with ITIL disciplines and service delivery management.

Responsibilities

• Designing and deploying scalable, highly available cloud platforms.
• Manage network, virtualization, compute, data and security requirements on cloud platforms.
• Oversee patch management and product upgrades by service providers.
• Migrate on-prem workloads to cloud environments.
• Adopt best practices for cloud architecture and automation.
• Coordinate and automate cloud platforms across the organization.
• Communicate progress to management and collaborate with IT teams for integration.
• Control cloud service usage and implement cost-control strategies.
• Raise and manage service and change requests; participate in incident management.
