Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Penta Consultancy Sdn. Bhd is seeking a mid-level cloud infrastructure engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable server infrastructure.

The role requires collaboration with the IT team to assess needs, plan deployments, and ensure high availability and bandwidth across platforms. The candidate should demonstrate hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, and related tools, with strong debugging skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure roles.
• Hands-on with popular cloud hosting providers (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience setting up servers for blockchain nodes.
• Experience with high bandwidth, high security, and high uptime servers.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Nice to have CI/CD experience and redundant/backup setups.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud server infrastructure with focus on high availability and bandwidth.
• Collaborate with IT team to determine infrastructure needs and plan accordingly.
• Implement backup and failover solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Monitor server performance and ensure system reliability.
• Conduct stress testing and penetration testing for performance and security.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for setup, changes, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Continuously monitor, upgrade, and scale servers as needed.
• Write scripts to automate server setup and deployment.

Job description

• Design, implement, and manage cloud server infrastructure with a focus on high
  availability and high bandwidth.
  
• Collaborate with the IT team to determine the company's infrastructure needs and
  plan accordingly.
  
• Implement backup and failover solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
  
• Monitor server performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
  
• Conduct thorough stress testing and penetration testing to ensure the performance,
  security, and stability of the servers.
  
• Create and maintain technical documentation for set up, installation, changes,
  upgrades and operational maintenance.
  
• Continuously monitor, upgrade, and scale the server when needed.
  
• Write scripts to automate server setup and system deployment.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience for the requirements listed.
  
• Hands-on working knowledge of popular cloud hosting provider like AWS, Google
  Cloud, etc.
  
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  
• Experience in setting up servers for blockchain node.
  
• Experience in setting up and maintaining server with high bandwidth, high security, and
  high uptime.
  
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  
• Good to have CI/CD experience.
