Job summary

Alphawave-Innovations in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable infrastructure for multi-environment deployments. You will implement CI/CD pipelines, manage Kubernetes platforms, and optimize cloud and on-premise resources.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong Linux administration, and expertise in containers, networking, security, and observability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, CS or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of Cloud Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• Strong Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and container orchestration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Experience operating cloud platforms or hybrid environments.
• Understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing and storage.
• Experience with CDN, security and compliance practices.
• Good problem-solving and proactive delivery mindset.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure and platform foundations.
• Operate systems across development, testing, and production.
• Design, implement, and operate CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery.
• Build and manage Kubernetes platforms and containerized apps.
• Plan cost-efficient platform solutions using cloud or open-source tech.
• Automate infrastructure using IaC and CI/CD practices.
• Design and manage networking, CDN, and security policies.
• Integrate logs and metrics for observability and troubleshooting.
• Enforce security best practices and patching.
• Troubleshoot issues and drive long-term fixes.
• Improve platform scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Create and maintain infrastructure docs and diagrams.
