Job summary

Stampede Solution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy and maintain scalable cloud environments across major platforms. The role covers hybrid on‑prem workloads, day‑to‑day ops, migrations, and thorough documentation.

You’ll work with senior engineers to own environments over time, using Linux, networking, MySQL, scripting and IaC tools. You will join a team delivering cloud-first solutions with strict standards for security, monitoring and change control,

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ experience in cloud, infrastructure or systems engineering. Fresh graduates with solid hands-on project or lab experience are welcome to apply.
• Hands-on experience implementing or supporting workloads on at least one major cloud platform — AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Proficient in Linux administration and comfortable working entirely from the command line.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, NAT and firewall concepts.
• Basic MySQL — read/write SQL, backup/restore, and indexing concepts.
• Scripting in Bash, and ideally Python, to automate routine work.
• Familiar with Git and working from tickets/change records.
• Clear written English for documentation and ability to communicate with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and disciplined change testing.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy and maintain cloud infrastructure for platforms and client environments as directed by senior engineers.
• Run day-to-day operations across cloud and on-prem environments: provisioning, patching, monitoring, backup and incident response.
• Assist in migration and deployment projects from environment build through UAT to go-live.
• Document configurations, runbooks, network diagrams and as-built records.
• Learn the platform and grow to own environments of your own.
• Provision and configure compute, storage, networking and identity services on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
