Job summary

Great Eastern in Cyberjaya, Malaysia is seeking a senior Cloud Platform Engineer to steer multi-cloud operations across AWS and OCI, implement IaC, and optimize core services for reliability and performance.

You will design secure, scalable cloud architectures, lead automation efforts with Terraform, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with security teams to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years as Cloud Platform Engineer managing CTLZ or OCI Landing Zone.
• 5+ years of automation experience using Ansible, Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Strong DevOps background with Bamboo, Bitbucket, Nexus, Jira, Confluence, CodeStar.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-cloud operations across AWS and OCI and optimize core services.
• Design IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, and OCI Resource Manager.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automate provisioning and deployment.
• Drive cost optimization and platform reliability in hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with security and application teams to ensure secure cloud solutions.
