The Role
As a Cloud & Digital Workplace Analyst, you will provide first‑line support for virtual servers and Microsoft Azure environments, performing daily operational tasks, monitoring systems, handling basic service requests, and making routine changes across cloud and on‑prem infrastructure.
Accountabilities
Digital Workplace (On‑prem)
- Monitor server environment health with tools such as LogicMonitor.
- Log and triage incidents and service requests.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of server issues (CPU, memory, disk space, VM availability, backup status).
- Handle common service requests (password resets, access requests).
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Level2 or Level3 teams.
- Support patching for Windows OS and backup verification (Commvault, Veeam, Avamar) under guidance.
- Follow change management processes for standard and emergency changes.
- Maintain accurate ticket documentation and update the knowledge base where needed.
- Assist with daily reporting and shift handovers.
Public Cloud (Azure)
- Monitor Azure environment health with Azure Monitor.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of Azure issues (CPU usage, VM availability, backup status).
- Handle cloud‑specific service requests (resource tagging).
- Support patching and backup verification tasks under guidance.
- Follow change management processes for standard and emergency changes.
- Maintain accurate ticket documentation and update the knowledge base where needed.
- Assist with daily reporting and shift handovers.
Your Experience & Qualifications
- 0–2years of experience in IT support or infrastructure roles.
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Azure portal, and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools and ticketing systems.
- Understanding of patching, backups (Commvault, Veeam, Avamar), and system monitoring.
- Willingness to learn scripting and automation (PowerShell, Azure CLI).
- Good communication and customer‑service skills.
- Relevant IT certifications are a plus (CompTIA, AZ‑900, AZ‑104, ITIL Foundation, VCTA, VCP, MD‑102, MS‑900).
- Proactive, customer‑focused, team‑oriented, and committed to timely support and accurate documentation.
- Strong foundational understanding of server and Azure technology and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
