Job summary

MindMerge Consulting in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, seeks a Senior Executive, Cloud FinOps to manage cloud and technology expenditures across AWS, Microsoft, VMware, and software subscriptions. You will work with engineering, finance, procurement, and vendors to ensure accurate cost allocation and governance.

Responsibilities include monitoring usage, building dashboards in Power BI, forecasting, and identifying savings opportunities, rightsizing, and cost transparency across Dev, Test, and Prod

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–5 years of Cloud FinOps, cloud operations, and software/subscription governance.
• Strong AWS experience and familiarity with cloud pricing structures.
• Hands-on Power BI, Excel pivot modeling, or other financial visualization tools.
• Experience with budgeting, procurement, and vendor management is advantageous.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage cloud services across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and marketplace consumption.
• Drive cost optimization through shutdowns, rightsizing, and usage optimization.
• Build and maintain billing dashboards and reports using Power BI or Excel.
• Ensure accurate cost allocation and tagging across environments.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and engineering for governance.
• Assist sourcing activities including RFI/RFQ/RFP to ensure value.
