Job description

The New Roles:

1. Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions tailored to business needs and industry best practices.
2. Collaborate with internal teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures.
3. Utilize automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to deploy and configure cloud services and resources efficiently.
4. Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance, availability, and security, implementing proactive measures to optimize system health.
5. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, including performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and connectivity challenges.
6. Implement and manage cloud security controls, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption protocols, and network security configurations.
7. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, deployment processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
8. Act as a technical advisor, providing guidance and knowledge sharing to internal teams including developers, system administrators, and network engineers.

Requirements to succeed:

1. At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. At least 4-6 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions.
3. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms.
4. Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
5. Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and best practices.
6. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
