Job summary

DCAP Holdings in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our IT team. You will design, deploy, and operate our AWS-based infrastructure, automate deployment pipelines, and ensure secure, scalable fintech platforms.

Responsibilities include VPN setup, container orchestration with Docker, ECS/EKS, monitoring with CloudWatch/Trail, and enforcing security best practices. You will collaborate with development teams and document infrastructure and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of DevOps experience with a focus on AWS cloud services.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, VPC, IAM).
• Proficiency in VPN installation, configuration, and management (open-source or AWS-based).
• Solid knowledge of containerization/orchestration (Docker, AWS ECS/EKS).
• Knowledge of AWS security best practices (IAM, security groups, VPC).
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Datadog, Prometheus).
• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure for scalable, secure applications.
• Setup, configure, and manage VPNs for secure communication between remote teams and AWS.
• Monitor AWS resources using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and other tools to ensure performance and security.
• Implement and manage containerized apps using Docker, ECS, and EKS.
• Enforce security best practices, IAM roles/policies, and perform security audits.
• Optimize AWS resources for cost management and auto-scaling.
• Troubleshoot issues in development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate with development teams for seamless integration and CI/CD workflows.
• Document AWS infrastructure, deployment processes, and system architectures.
• Propose new tools/features to improve cloud infrastructure and workflows.
