Job summary

Southern Health Centre in Johor Bahru is seeking an Assistant to support doctors in health screening tests, prepare and label samples, and ensure accurate handling of patient data. You will guide customers through the screening process, assist with registration, and manage billing with care.

Fresh grads and interns are welcome. Training is provided, with 5 working days per week, 7:30am-5:30pm shifts. Benefits include medical coverage, transport allowance, and year-end bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/Diploma, preferably in science related field
• Exceptional customer service and good communication skills
• Proficient in English (spoken and written)
• Positive working attitude, willingness to learn and strong teamwork skill
• Basic computer skill is required
• Must be willing to work on weekends
• Willing and able to relocate (within Johor Bahru)

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors in conducting basic health screening tests (e.g., height, weight, blood pressure, ECG etc.) Training will be provided
• Prepare and label test samples accurately (e.g., blood, urine)
• Ensure proper handling and documentation of patient data and samples
• Answer customer enquiries and guide customers with a warm and helpful attitude, scheduling appointments
• Coordinate registration, provide clear instructions to customers throughout the screening process
• Handle billing and payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of screening areas and equipment
• Ensure patient confidentiality at all times
