Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead the day-to-day freight activities at the client's site in Shah Alam. You will supervise the operations team, coordinate shipments, and ensure timely cargo movement while maintaining strict SOP compliance.

Responsibilities include overseeing bookings, preparing shipping documents (SI and BL), building strong relationships with agents and transporters, and delivering clear communication with the client to drive smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support the operations team in day-to-day freight activities
• Oversee shipment bookings, documentation (SI & BL), and pre-alerts to agents
• Manage relationships with shipping agents and transporters
• Monitor truck booking arrangements and ensure timely cargo movement
• Ensure accuracy of all shipping documents and team compliance with SOPs
• Identify areas for improvement and report to the Operations Manager
• Stationed at the client's office and responsible for maintaining regular communication with the client
