Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a Facilities Mechanical Engineer (Cleanroom) to own end-to-end mechanical systems from build through operation, ensuring ISO 14644 compliance and reliable 24/7 availability.

You will analyse tool utility, validate demand, coordinate maintenance via SAP PM, manage budgets, and lead OEM contracts; experience in semiconductor or high-purity environments preferred. PMP experience is a plus, and AI tools are encouraged to support AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in mechanical/facilities engineering with cleanroom exposure.
• Direct experience in semiconductor or high-purity environments.
• PMP certification or equivalent is advantageous.
• Experience delivering capital projects from concept to hand-over.
• Budget planning and OPEX control experience.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical accountability for cleanroom mechanical systems.
• Analyze tool utility diagrams and connection plans.
• Validate utility demand against tool requirements.
• Track site progress, workmanship and cleanliness during build-out.
• Lead preventive/predictive maintenance via SAP PM and budgets.
• Drive optimization projects with ROI and energy savings.
