Job summary

Ultimate Manufacturing Solutions (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for a contract-based internship based in Simpang Ampat, Penang. You will work with senior engineers on civil and structural projects, perform site inspections, create CAD drawings, and contribute to project reports and documentation.

The role focuses on hands-on learning, applying academic knowledge to real-world engineering tasks, and developing professional skills in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Civil/Structural engineering degree.
• Interest in civil/structural design, site surveys and documentation.
• Basic CAD skills or willingness to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Assist design, analysis and development of civil/structural projects under supervision.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys for data collection and feasibility.
• Prepare technical drawings using CAD software and other tools.
• Support preparation of project reports and specifications.
• Assist in structural calculations, load assessments and material specs.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas for problem solving.
• Help monitor progress and maintain activity records.
• Assist with QA, safety compliance on site and office.
• Undertake ad-hoc tasks and administrative duties as needed.
