Job summary

A leading civil engineering firm in Malaysia is looking for a junior civil engineer to assist with design and project coordination. Responsibilities include monitoring work progress, submitting designs, and preparing reports. Candidates must hold at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and possess skills in Java, AutoCad, and MS Project. The ideal candidate is strategic and independent in their work. This position offers a standard office schedule from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering – Civil/Construction/Structural.
• Strategic thinking and independent in handling the job.

Responsibilities

• Prepare installation reports for managers.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:
-Assist Section Head in monitoring work progress and coordinating resources
-Adhere to project timeline, quality, and budget
-Specialising in C&S design
-Provide detailed design of Structural design earthworks, water supply, sewerage, and drainage
-Familiar in structural design including software like Prota, Esteem,Staadpro, etc.
-Ensure timely submission of civil and structural design and drawings
-Prepare installation reports for submission to construction manager/project manager
-Assist section head/senior engineers to plan ahead to avoid unnecessary delay

Job Requirements:
-Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
-Required skill(s): Java, MS Project, AutoCad, Struts.
-Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin
-with or without of working experience
-Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Engineering – Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
-Strategic and demonstrate a high level of business sense & must be independent in handling the job

Office Hours: Monday - Friday
9.00am to 5.00pm
