Job summary

CHINA WEALTH MACHINERY (M) SDN BHD seeks a Civil Engineer to supervise daily site construction activities in Malaysia. You will read drawings, coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and clients, ensure quality and safety, and manage progress reporting on site.

The role requires at least 3 years of site experience, CIDB Green Card, and proficiency in Mandarin with solid MS Office skills. You must be willing to work at project sites and bring your own laptop and transport.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related construction discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of site experience.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Familiar with construction procedures, quality control, and safety requirements.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to work at project sites within Malaysia.
• Valid CIDB Green Card.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Proficient in spoken and written Mandarin.
• Possess own laptop and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site construction activities
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and specifications
• Monitor construction progress and report to the Project Manager
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients on site matters
• Resolve technical and construction issues arising on site
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control of works
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, site safety rules, and company HSE policy
• Prepare site reports, progress reports, inspection records, and site diary
• Attend site meetings and technical meetings
• Coordinate materials delivery and manpower deployment
