Job summary

DNP CONSULT SDN. BHD. in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Civil Infra Design Engineer/Inspector of Works with at least 5 years of experience to design and oversee civil infrastructure projects.

You will develop detailed designs for roads, bridges and drainage, conduct feasibility studies, and work with project managers and construction teams to ensure timely delivery. The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, strong CAD/analysis skills, and ability to interpret standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil infrastructure design; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Strong technical skills in civil engineering design, including CAD software and analysis tools.
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying relevant codes, standards and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities; strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with project management principles and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil engineering designs for infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, drainage).
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments and analyses to inform design.
• Collaborate with project managers, construction teams and stakeholders for project execution.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings and documentation to support delivery.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulations and best practices; mentor junior staff.
