Job summary

PTT Synergy Group Berhad in Kelantan, Malaysia, seeks a civil engineering student to support on-site supervision and daily construction activities at Palekbang. This internship-style role offers hands-on exposure to active project sites.

You will assist in preparing drawings and reports for consultants, help obtain approvals for materials and method statements, and contribute to weekly progress updates and site measurements.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• CGPA: 3.0 and above.
• Basic knowledge of construction processes, materials and safety standards.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, or project management tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, site-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in site supervision and monitor daily construction activities on-site.
• Support project engineers in preparing drawings, reports, and documentation.
• Assist in obtaining consultant approval for both materials and method statements prior to commencing work on-site.
• Help track project progress, prepare weekly status updates, and participate in site measurements for interim progress claims.
• Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and site workers to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Update daily site work records and submit them to the consultant for signature.
• Compile monthly quality reports and assist in preparing documents for progress meetings.
