Job summary

SeaOwl Malaysia is seeking a Civil Asset Inspector to oversee inspection, monitoring, and assessment of civil infrastructure assets, ensuring reliability and safety.

You will perform visual inspections, record findings, assess conditions, and support maintenance prioritization, collaborating with teams while ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of civil assets and identify visible defects, anomalies, or signs of deterioration.
• Record, document, and report inspection findings clearly and accurately.
• Assess asset conditions in line with applicable procedures and inspection standards.
• Support the prioritization of maintenance or corrective actions based on observed asset conditions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely follow-up on inspection outcomes.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and contribute to the traceability of asset history.
• Ensure work is carried out in compliance with safety requirements and operational guidelines.

Job description

As a Civil Asset Inspector, you will play a key role in the inspection, monitoring, and assessment of civil infrastructure assets to support their reliability, safety, and ongoing performance. You will be directly integrated into the relevant operational team.
