Job summary

SeaOwl Malaysia is seeking a Lead Inspector to oversee inspection activities within the Maintenance department. You will ensure reliability, consistency, and quality of maintenance operations, coordinating with multiple stakeholders to drive improvements.

Key responsibilities include planning inspections, validating findings, classifying defects, and approving reports. You will define methodologies and ensure data is fit for engineering use, supporting continuous operational performance.

As a Lead Inspector, you will play a key role in overseeing inspection activities and ensuring the reliability, consistency, and quality of maintenance operations. You will be directly integrated into the Maintenance department.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Plan and supervise inspection activities
• Validate inspection findings
• Classify defects: Minor / Major / Critical
• Define inspection methodology
• Interface
• Approve inspection report
• Recommend: Further analysis (FEM required or not)
• Ensure data is fit for engineering use

• Lead and coordinate inspection activities within the maintenance scope.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Review inspection findings, identify deviations, and support the follow-up of corrective actions.
• Prepare and consolidate inspection reports for operational teams and management.
• Collaborate with maintenance stakeholders to support continuous improvement and operational performance.
• Contribute to the organization and prioritization of inspection activities in line with business needs.
