Job summary

Reeracoen Recruitment Malaysia is seeking a skilled ELV Technician to troubleshoot and resolve issues across CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, PA, Intercom, and Structured Cabling systems. The role covers installation, testing, configuration, and commissioning of ELV systems, including BMS interfaces and network infrastructure.

You will perform health checks, preventive maintenance, and commissioning reports, coordinate with clients and vendors, and uphold safety and technical standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Alarm, PA, Intercom, and Structured Cabling systems.
• Perform installation, testing, configuration, and commissioning of ELV systems, including BMS interfaces and network infrastructure.

Job description

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ELV systems.5. Respond promptly to system faults and breakdowns, including during non-office hours, weekends, and public holidays.6. Assist the Senior Technical Engineer, Assistant Technical Service Manager, and Technical Service Manager in carrying out services related to:

• CCTV Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Intrusion Alarm Systems
• Structured Cabling Systems
• Network Infrastructure Support
• Public Address (PA) Systems
• Intercom Systems7.

Perform installation, testing, configuration, and commissioning of ELV systems, including: CCTV Surveillance Systems8. Access Control and Biometric Systems

• Building Management System (BMS) interfaces
• Structured Cabling (Copper & Fiber Optic)
• Public Address and Intercom Systems

Conduct system health checks, preventive maintenance, and periodic inspections to ensure optimum system performance.10. Carry out testing and troubleshooting of ELV devices, controllers, sensors, and associated infrastructure.11. Support system upgrades, expansions, migrations, and integration activities.12.

Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors during maintenance and project activities.13. Continuously learn and develop technical competency in ELV technologies, smart building systems, and data centre infrastructure monitoring solutions.14. Prepare and maintain maintenance records, service reports, inspection reports, testing documentation, and commissioning reports.15.

Ensure all works are performed in accordance with safety requirements, technical standards, and company procedures.16. Perform any other tasks assigned by the Technical Service Team Lead and Technical Service Manager.
