Job summary

Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Entry Level Manager - Culinary to support the Chinese kitchen under the guidance of the Sous Chef. You will help ensure smooth operation, uphold Hyatt standards, and contribute to guest satisfaction.

The role focuses on assisting with daily kitchen activities, maintaining hygiene, and working within a dynamic hotel environment at THIRTY8 Kitchen in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' work experience as a Chef de Partie or in similar role in a hotel or large restaurant specializing in Chinese cuisine and with good standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards.
• Assist the Sous Chef in managing the Chinese section of THIRTY8 Kitchen to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Plan, organize, direct and control kitchen operations and administration.
