Job summary

Masih Jaya Sdn Bhd in Lahad Datu, Sabah is seeking a Chief Mechanic to oversee operation, maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment and to lead the mechanics team.

The position prioritizes safety, service quality and proactive planning, with line of report to the Plantation Manager / Machinery Manager / Group of Directors.

Candidates must have at least ten years field experience and a proven track record, with strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years’ field experience with similar equipment onshore or offshore.
• Proven experience as chief mechanic.
• Knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical and other systems.
• A strong commitment to all safety and health guidelines.
• Industrial mechanics certificate or equivalent.
• Very good communication skills.
