Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia requirements, MFRS, and Malaysian regulatory framework.

Overview

Position Overview: As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO provides strategic financial stewardship and is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in line with statutory and listing requirements. The CFO drives financial planning and analysis, strengthens internal controls, risk management, and corporate governance, and serves as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee accounting, reporting, and financial systems to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
  • Lead the preparation and timely release of quarterly, half-year, and annual announcements in line with Bursa Malaysia requirements.
  • Manage group consolidation and ensure timely statutory and regulatory reporting.
  • Drive tax planning, compliance, and optimisation to support sustainable business performance.
  • Manage internal and external audit processes, ensuring transparency and effective compliance.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to drive accountability, collaboration, and performance excellence.
  • Advise the CEO and Board on financial planning, business performance, and growth strategies.
  • Support corporate exercises such as mergers & acquisitions, acquisition valuations, due diligence, and strategic partnerships.
  • Implement and enhance internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
