Jobstreet Malaysia is seeking a seasoned finance leader to steer the company's financial strategy in line with business objectives, growth plans and long-term direction. The role partners with the CEO and Board to provide strategic advice on investments, funding and profitability.
You will oversee accounting, monthly to annual reporting, budgeting and financial modelling, and drive cash flow management, governance and compliance as the company scales toward its next phase.
Lead and develop the Company's overall financial strategy in alignment with its business objectives, growth plans and long-term corporate direction.
Provide strategic financial advice, analysis and recommendations to the CEO, senior management and Board of Directors on business performance, investments, expansion plans, funding, profitability and other major business decisions, and present relevant financial performance and forecasts to support informed decision-making.
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management accounts and financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Ensure the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial information and maintain proper accounting records across the Company and its subsidiaries.
Lead the annual budgeting, financial planning, forecasting and financial modelling processes, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
Monitor actual financial performance against budgets, forecasts and strategic targets, and provide recommendations to improve profitability, efficiency, cost management and overall business performance.
Analyze revenue, margins, costs, profitability, cash flow and other key financial indicators to identify business opportunities, financial risks and areas for improvement.
Oversee cash flow, liquidity, working capital and treasury management to ensure the Company's financial stability and funding requirements.
Develop and oversee appropriate funding, financing and capital management strategies to support the Company's operations, expansion and long-term growth.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, financial regulations, statutory requirements and Company policies.
Lead and oversee statutory audits, tax matters and financial compliance, including liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, regulators and other professional advisors.
Lead the Company's transition from SME-level financial management to a stronger corporate governance and internal control environment suitable for a larger corporate organization and future listed company, including strengthening financial policies, processes and controls to safeguard Company assets.
Lead the financial aspects of the Company's IPO and potential listing preparation, including financial due diligence, reporting and financial documentation.
Liaise with investment bankers, auditors and other professional advisors throughout the IPO and listing preparation process.
Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, systems, reporting and controls to improve efficiency, accuracy and scalability.
Lead, develop and oversee the Finance function to ensure effective financial management, operational excellence and continuous development of the finance team.
Ensure a high level of integrity, confidentiality, accountability and professionalism throughout the Finance function.
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the CEO, Board of Directors or Management from time to time.
