Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years in a leadership role within application development or IT services.
• Strong understanding of application security, data protection, and risk management.
• Knowledge of security compliance and regulatory requirements in banking.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiar with local regulations (BNM) and regulatory impact on tech decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC), including threat monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Implement and maintain advanced threat detection and mitigation tools to ensure proactive defense.
• Collaborate with IT and application teams to embed security in core banking systems, digital platforms, and mobile apps.
• Develop and lead the incident response program, coordinating rapid response to security incidents.
• Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and drive continuous improvements.
• Oversee red team exercises and penetration testing to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Establish and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and standards in line with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and conduct security assessments and audits.
• Lead risk assessment processes for infrastructure, applications, and data environments.
• Manage vendor security and control access to sensitive data.
• Mentor and develop the security team and coordinate training with HR.
