Job summary

Hartalega is seeking an Engineering/R&D professional to execute assigned tasks, translate customer inputs into technical work, and collaborate across functions to drive innovation in product development and process improvements. The role emphasizes applying best practices, laboratory testing, and mentoring junior team members.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Science (Master’s preferred) with 2+ years in RND or related fields, and a solid understanding of NPD, GMP, and defect

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field; Master’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in RND or similar technical roles.
• Knowledge of New Product Development (NPD) processes and project execution.
• Understanding of project management principles and defect analysis methods.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement tools such as process mapping, 5S, and Kaizen.
• Working knowledge of GMP and manufacturing technologies.

• Execute experiments and trials with external partners, providing accurate technical data and insights.
• Perform additional duties to support project objectives.

Responsibilities

1. 1. Execute assigned tasks under guidance to drive innovation, product development, process improvements, and cost-efficiency within projects.
2. 2. Translate customer design inputs into assigned technical work, experiments, and documentation.
3. 3. Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment with project objectives.
4. 4. Apply RND best practices and experimental methodologies in assigned activities.
5. 5. Perform laboratory testing and basic technical work related to manufacturing processes, materials, and product-related issues under guidance, and elevate technical issues while contributing to risk identification and mitigation within the project scope.
6. 6. Develop technical skills and domain knowledge under supervision, and contribute to mentoring entry-level team members where applicable.
7. 7. Contribute to team-level continuous improvement initiatives and incremental innovation efforts.
8. 8. Execute experiments and trials with external partners, and provide accurate technical data and insights.
9. 9. Perform additional duties as required to support functional and project objectives.
