Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to sustain and operate electrical systems while ensuring safety compliance. The role involves diagnosing electrical faults on production lines, recording daily checklists, and monitoring critical equipment such as air compressors, firefighting, and chillers.

Candidates should read electrical drawings and be capable of operating, reading, and writing PLC programs.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electrical systems with emphasis on safety.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical issues across production lines.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficient in operating, reading and writing PLC programs.
• Experience monitoring and maintaining production equipment (air compressors, fire safety, chillers).
• Knowledge of process control instrumentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and operating electrical systems while ensuring safety compliance.
• Troubleshooting electrical issues as they arise on the shop floor.
• Recording daily checklist and equipment logs.
• Monitoring air compressors, firefighting systems, and chillers.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings accurately.
• Operating and programming PLCs as required.
• Troubleshooting production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Support with process control instrumentation where applicable.
