Responsibilities

• Accomplish all maintenance functions as assigned by the Maintenance Controller, so as to ensure compliance with all airworthiness and company requirements, in a timely and economic manner
• Accomplish and/or provide direct supervision of any maintenance work on company aircraft at assigned station, whether accomplished by Cayman Airways staff or contracted agency/personnel
• Ensure the appropriate manuals (AMM, IPC, WDM, SRM etc.) are used to accomplish tasks, on all maintenance tasks and all work performed is completed and certified in accordance with all regulatory and company requirements
• Travel to other stations to provide maintenance support when necessary to meet the company’s requirements
• Monitor and ensures the proper handling, cleanliness and safe use of company tools, equipment, vehicles, and facilities at all times
• Maintain a current knowledge related to aircraft maintenance, airworthiness procedures, company requirements and technical developments
• Other duties as may be assigned

Requirements

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Licensed Aircraft Technician (Issued by an ICAO contracting State acceptable to the Governor) with ATA Spec 104 Level 2 training on the Boeing 737-8 aircraft
• Minimum of five (5) years total experience with at least 3 years’ experience on the B737-8
• Should be computer literate and proficient with MS Outlook, Word and Excel
• Should have good command of the English language with effective written and oral skills
• Able to work on call, nights, weekends, and public holidays on a scheduled basis
