Job summary

Shiangly Builder Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a qualified scaffolding inspector to ensure safety and compliance on our construction sites. You will carry out inspections, tag scaffolds, and work with site management to address any unsafe conditions.

Applicants must hold a valid JKKP/DOSH scaffolding competency certificate and CIDB Green Card, have relevant site experience, and be able to work independently at a construction site in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid JKKP/DOSH recognised scaffolding competency certificate and be competent to carry out scaffolding inspections as a designated/competent person.
• Relevant working experience in scaffolding works, preferably in the construction industry.
• Familiar with scaffold inspection and safety requirements.
• Able to identify unsafe scaffold conditions and recommend necessary corrective action.
• Possess valid CIDB Green Card.
• Able to work at construction site.
• Responsible, safety-conscious and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection of scaffolding at project site and ensure it is safe for use
• Inspect scaffold structure, working platform, access, guardrails, bracing, ties and other related components
• Ensure scaffolding is properly erected and complies with JKKP/DOSH and site safety requirements
• Carry out scaffold tagging and maintain proper inspection records
• Identify unsafe or incomplete scaffolding and follow up on rectification works
• Monitor scaffold condition and ensure no unauthorised modification is carried out
• Work closely with Site Management and Safety Team on scaffolding and safety matters
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Management
