Job summary

Hershey Malaysia Sdn Bhd invites applications for a forklift operator on our Johor manufacturing floor. You will transport packaging materials to lines, move empty skids, inspect equipment, and ensure on-time delivery of quality products while maintaining GMP and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts safely through production areas, updating the SAP system, verifying packing materials against the schedule, and keeping the work environment clean and compliant.

Qualifications

• GMP and food safety knowledge required.
• Must be able to maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Basic forklift operation and material handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport and open packaging materials to the lines from area elevator.
• Transport empty skids from the lines to skid holding area.
• Be attentive throughout all processes for wear and tear of all tools and equipment.
• Notify Supervisor and/or QA of any circumstance that may lead to product quality being compromised.
• Safely operate forklift through production areas and other zones.
• Wear sanitary gloves when handling rework or touching a food contact surface.
• Inspect the forklift prior to use and complete forklift checklist.
• Observe forklift and Work Saver battery transport to the charging station when battery charge is low.
• Check updated production schedule to confirm which item is scheduled to run and verify correct packaging components are transported to the line.
• Check and update SAP system when required.
• Inventory items on production floor and verify packing materials needed.
