Job summary

Centific is seeking a CAT Team Lead in Penang to own hardware validation execution, enforce standards, and drive timely delivery across validation tasks. You will coordinate planning, tracking, and reporting while coaching the team towards ownership and clear communication with cross-functional partners.

The role requires strong Jira governance, risk management, and dashboard insight to monitor progress and ensure quality outcomes for validation efforts.

• Act as the primary owner for the team's overall validation execution and adherence to CAT operating standards.
• Review all team Jira tasks daily to confirm they are on track, correctly scoped, and will meet committed deadlines.
• Escalate risks and blockers early with a clear recovery plan — not just a status.
• Break down product validation plans into taskified work: clear title, single assignee, detailed description, firm deadline.
• Define and assign owners for all test areas; balance coverage against headcount and lab/DUT capacity.

We aim to help these organizations unlock significant business value by deploying GenAI at scale, helping to ensure they stay at the forefront of technological advancement and maintain a competitive edge in their respective markets.**About Job**Execution Ownership● Act as the primary owner for the team's overall validation execution and adherence to CAT operating standards.● Review all team Jira tasks daily to confirm they are on track, correctly scoped, and will meet committed deadlines.● Escalate risks and blockers early with a clear recovery plan — not just a status.Planning & Allocation● Break down product validation plans into taskified work: clear title, single assignee, detailed description (what to test, how, expected outcome), firm deadline, accurate status.● Define and assign owners for all test areas; balance coverage against headcount and lab/DUT capacity.● Maintain per-build test case trackers (one tracker per build — no mixing across builds).Standards & Process● Enforce the unified test case naming format and standardized Jira tagging● Drive high-quality bug reporting: clear, reproducible, triaged, and actively followed up through verification and closure.● Contribute to Jira dashboards for task completion rate, bug volume, bug verification status, and on-time completion rate.People & Communication● Coach team members toward absolute ownership: each owner is the single point of contact for their task and can answer questions directly without deferring to leads.● Run regular reviews and Month-over-Month (MoM) tracking of team work and performance metrics.● Report into and support the US CAT Team Lead; provide clear, timely written updates to cross-functional partners. ### ### Centific is an equal-opportunity employer.
