Job summary

Meow Hero Family Centre Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a cat grooming assistant to join our team. The role involves grooming, bathing and drying cats, maintaining cleanliness of grooming tools, and supporting daily grooming and boarding operations.

Fresh applicants are welcome as training and SOP guidance will be provided. Experience or certification is an advantage, but a positive attitude and ability to follow instructions are essential.

Responsibilities

• Grooming, bathing, and drying cats.
• Check for skin, ear, fungus, flea or health issues and inform Customer Service.
• Use grooming products according to SOP.
• Ensure cats are clean, safe, and comfortable after grooming.
• Clean and sanitize grooming tools after use.
• Clean grooming and boarding areas daily.
• Prepare and clean boarding cabins before check-in and after check-out.
• Assist with UV room disinfection.
• Assist with pet taxi or vet taxi services.
• Perform other tasks assigned by manager when required.

Job description

This role involves grooming, bathing, drying, maintaining cleanliness of grooming tools, and supporting daily grooming and boarding operations. We are looking for candidate who is brave, passionate about cats, and eager to learn and grow in the world of cat grooming. Fresh applicants are welcome as training and SOP guidance will be provided.

Key responsibilities

Grooming, bathing, and drying cats

Check for skin, ear, fungus, flea, or health issues and inform Customer Service

Use grooming products according to SOP

Ensure cats are clean, safe, and comfortable after grooming

Clean and sanitize grooming tools after use

Clean grooming and boarding areas daily

About you

Fresh applicants with no grooming experience are welcome (training provided)

Those with experience or have grooming certification will be added advantage

Patient, proactive, responsible, and able to work well in a team

Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Good attention to detail when handling cats

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Comfortable following SOP and manager instructions

Must be available to work on weekends and public holidays based on duty roster
