Job summary
The Western Union Company in Sungai Buloh, Malaysia is seeking a Cashier & Sales Associate to welcome customers and guide them through the processing of money transfer transactions. You will ensure transactions comply with company policies and maintain accurate cash register records.
Applicants should have 0–2 years of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and fluency in English; fresh graduates are welcome. Weekend availability is a plus and training will be provided.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of customer service experience (preferably in financial services or retail).
- Problem-solving skills.
- Minimum qualification – SPM.
- Open to Fresh Graduates.
- Experience in cash management.
- Good communication skills.
- Fluency in English – additional languages are a strong advantage.
- Experience in currency exchange is a plus.
- Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Can work according to the schedule and can work on weekends.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers, guiding them through processing their transactions.
- Ensuring transactions follow compliance rules and addressing inquiries timely.
- Cash handling and maintaining cash register reports.
- Work collaboratively with a team to meet targets.
