Job summary

Harvey Norman Malaysia is hiring a cashier to support daily sales operations at our stores. You will process sales, handle payments, calculate change, and ensure accurate pricing.

You will maintain adequate cash in the drawer, reconcile receipts, direct customers to the right department, and assist with promotional vouchers. The role requires attention to detail and reliable cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions by accepting payments.
• Ensure the price of product is correctly keyed in based on article.
• Calculate and return change when required by the payment method.
• Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change as required.
• Direct customers to the relevant department in regard to questions about products or services.
• Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts.
• Report issues on faulty devices or relevant equipment.
• Complete report on a daily basis.
• Sell vouchers / gift cards as and when required.
• Issue out promotional vouchers as and when required and ensure that the balance tallies.
• To perform any other reasonable duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
