Job summary

Eco-Shop Marketing Berhad (Retail) is seeking a customer-focused cashier at Bandar Baru Seri Alam, Masai, Johor. You will assist customers with purchases, process cash and card transactions, and balance the cash drawer to ensure accuracy.

You’ll monitor stock, maintain a clean counter, and report any equipment issues. This role requires basic math, good communication, and a positive attitude with ability to work weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• High School/SPM/Diploma or equivalent with basic math.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Attention to detail for handling transactions and monitoring stock.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with customers.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Willing to work at Bandar Baru Seri Alam, Masai, Johor.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with purchases and addressing inquiries.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and balance the cash drawer.
• Accurately handle transactions, manage the cash register, and monitor stock effectively.
• Check counter equipment daily and report any issues for repair or replacement.
• Keep the counter clean, tidy, and hygienic to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Monitor and replenish counter stock, to avoid shortages.
