Job summary

eco-shop Malaysia is seeking a punctual and customer-focused cashier for our Bukit Anggerik Cheras counter in Kuala Lumpur. You will assist customers, process cash and card transactions, balance the cash drawer, and ensure stock levels are maintained.

Maintaining a clean, hygienic counter and reporting equipment issues are also part of the role. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, basic math, and a willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• High school level education; basic math skills.
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Attention to detail for handling transactions and monitoring stock.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases and inquiries.
• Handle cash and card transactions; balance cash drawer.
• Monitor stock and replenish counter as needed.
• Check counter equipment daily and report issues for repair or replacement.
• Keep counter clean, tidy and hygienic for a pleasant shopping experience.
• Monitor and replenish counter stock to prevent shortages.
