Job summary

ECO-SHOP Marketing Berhad (Retail) is seeking a retail cashier to support daily sales and customer service operations at our Kajang location. The role requires handling cash, card payments, and basic stock oversight to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

Ideal candidates have at least a high school diploma, good math skills, and reliability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Prior retail experience is preferred and the team emphasizes a friendly, customer-focused approach.

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Attention to detail for handling transactions and monitoring stock.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with cash handling procedures.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with customers.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Willing to work at Kajang.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting with purchases and addressing inquiries.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and balance the cash drawer.
• Accurately handle transactions, manage the cash register, and monitor stock effectively.
• Check counter equipment daily and report any issues for repair or replacement.
• Keep the counter clean, tidy, and hygienic to ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Monitor and replenish counter stock, to avoid shortages.
