About the role

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join the team at Crowd 99 Cafe in Sandakan District, Sabah. This is a part-time position that plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth financial transactions. As a Cashier, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, responsible for processing payments, managing the till, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers returning to our cafe.

What you'll be doing

• Processing cash, card, and digital payments accurately and efficiently


• Operating the point-of-sale (POS) system and maintaining till accuracy at the end of each shift


• Greeting customers with a warm and professional demeanor


• Taking orders and providing product recommendations to enhance the guest experience


• Handling customer inquiries and resolving any payment-related issues promptly


• Maintaining a clean and organised checkout area


• Reconciling cash drawers and preparing daily financial reports


• Assisting with stock management and inventory organisation as needed


• Supporting team members during peak service periods
