NOVI FOODS ENTERPRISE is seeking a full-time Cashier at Universiti Malaya to deliver excellent customer service at the point of sale. You will be the final contact for customers, ensuring transactions are accurate and efficiently processed in a friendly manner.

Responsibilities include handling various payment methods, greeting customers, taking orders, and reconciling daily sales. Multilingual communication (Malay/English/Mandarin) is beneficial for serving diverse customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
• Strong numeracy and ability to handle cash accurately.
• Excellent customer service with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Good communication in Malay, English, and Mandarin (Mandarin-speaking is preferred).

Responsibilities

• Handle cash, credit cards, debit cards, and digital wallets; issue receipts.
• Greet customers and take dine-in or take-away orders; answer menu questions.
• Manage cash drawer at shift start/end; reconcile daily sales.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Keep counter and register clean and organized; support operations as needed.

NOVI FOODS ENTERPRISE is seeking a Cashier to join our team at Universiti Malaya. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service at the point of sale. As a Cashier, you will be the final point of contact for our customers, ensuring every transaction is handled efficiently, accurately and with a warm, professional attitude. Your role is integral to creating a positive customer experience and maintaining the smooth operation of our cafeteria.

• Handle cash, credit cards, debit cards, and digital wallets. Give exact change and issue receipts
• Greet customers, take dine in or take away orders, and answer basic menu questions
• Handle cash drawer at the start and end of shifts. Reconcile total sales for the day
• Provide excellent customer service, answer customer's enquiry and provide a polite and welcoming environment
• Keep the counter and register are clean and organized.
• Support operational team when needed

What we're looking for

• With or without experience working as a Cashier in food & beverages business
• Candidates with full working rights for Malaysia
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills
• Strong numeracy skills and the ability to handle cash accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude

• Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexible hours including weekends if required
