Job summary

Reap is a global fintech company enabling borderless, stablecoin-enabled finance for businesses through card issuing, payments, and expense tooling. As Engineering Manager for Card Team, you will own end-to-end delivery for market entry, coordinating regulators, processors, and cross-functional partners to launch new regions.

You will guide engineering strategy, champion high-quality code, and ensure post-launch stability across multiple regulatory environments while scaling Reap's card

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 2+ years in a technical leadership or management role.
• Experience in building/operating systems in payments, risk/fraud, card infrastructure, financial reconciliation, or API platforms.
• Ability to lead cross-functional engineering initiatives and drive architectural decisions.
• Strong systems thinking to design fault-tolerant, observable, and scalable services.
• High bar for code quality and peer review; collaborate closely with others.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end engineering delivery for market entry, including regulatory integration and processor configuration.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies across Treasury, Onboarding, Compliance, Infrastructure, and Data Warehouse.
• Ensure stable, supported operations after go-live.
• Shape engineering strategy and guide cross-market scalability of card infrastructure.
• Establish on-call runbooks, incident response playbooks, and SLAs for live markets.
• Drive continuous improvement based on production signals and platform health.
