Job summary

PRO 7 AUTOWORKS is seeking a skilled automotive technician to perform inspections, servicing and repairs in our workshop. You will diagnose faults, replace worn components and conduct test drives to ensure customer vehicles are safe and reliable.

Responsibilities include following SOPs and quality standards, maintaining records, using diagnostic tools, and working with Admin, Service Advisor and Management to keep workshop operations smooth. Training and promotion opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Inspect and diagnose vehicles to identify faults.
• Perform routine servicing including engine oil, filters, brakes and fluids.
• Carry out repairs to engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes and air-conditioning.
• Use diagnostic scanners to identify faults and verify repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance and repairs according to SOPs.
• Diagnose vehicle problems via inspection, testing and diagnostics.
• Carry out routine servicing including oil, filters, brakes and fluids.
• Repair engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, brakes and cooling systems.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults and test before replacement.
• Record all work in the job sheet and note the Next Recommended Service.
• Ensure work complies with quality standards and SOPs.
• Use correct spare parts and confirm vehicle specs before installation.
• Run test drives and QC checks after repairs.
• Keep area clean, safe and organized.
• Report any faults or issues to relevant personnel.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
• Be proactive and willing to learn new technologies.
• Meet individual KPIs related to productivity and quality.
• Cooperate with Admin, Service Advisor and Management.
